She was also very up front about how different options (e.g., fondant or not, size of cake) would influence the price and final look of our cake, which we appreciated, and she had a full range of options that could work for any budget. She communicated well especially as our wedding date got closer - she worked with our wedding coordinator to get to and from the venue and work out when to drop off the cake without needing any prompting from us. She bakes her cakes only a few days before so they are fresh and very tasty - we found that some bigger pastry shops let their cakes sit for too long. We got multiple comments from guests that the cake was delicious (the bride had TWO pieces and can vouch for this!). We also really liked that she is a member of Icing Smiles, an organization that provides cakes for sick children. Hire Paula! She will take great care of you.December 01, 2016
